dj Chiren from Mythica records had the great honor to perform at the wedding of Angela & Edwin. Trilok & Chiren know Edwin since the beginning of their hardstyle career as a true fan of early hardstyle music. Mythica Records wish them both a long and happy life with a lot of love!!!!

On thursday the 10th of july a special radio show was hosted at the Dance Planet (106.4 FM). A special Mythica radio party to
celibrate the first release of the Beat Providers. During the interviews and the dj sets (by Trilok & Chiren, Beat Providers, Thilo
and Royal X) the Mythica crew made a lot of fun. The team spirit is high within Mythica. And the photo's are the proof of that!

Do you remember...? The legendary live performance of DHHD @ The Heineken Music Hall Amsterdam? During X-qlusive Luna, DHHD gave one of the best live-acts ever scene in hardstyle history. While most live-acts are almost 100% playback, Luna, Trilok & Chiren acted like a true live band. Luna fired the samples, Chiren was responsible for the live drums and Trilok did some live Synthworks.

After more then a week of practising the three were totally on fire. Rush, The Funky Shit, DHHD (The Anthem), 30 minutes, Hear me now, Indication and In Motion raged through the speakers. This truly was a night never to forget! A live act never to forget. During those 30 minutes... they entirely controled the sound!!!

The sound of Mythica is not only well known in The Netherlands. Also the hardstylers from abroad appreciate the raw beats and the scary sounds served by the Mythica members. Trilok & Chiren spinned their records at events in Germany, Switzerland, Schotland, Spain, Poland, England and Estonia. They even where one of the main acts on the lake parade in Geneve (photo's above). This year the Mythica founders will visit Kreta and will return to Estonia.

Chiren: One of the best things about being a dj is that you travel a lot. You see a lot of countries. And in every country they have different ways to deal with hardstyle and party's. In most countries you don't have big events such as Qlimax. But the party people over there are dreaming of such events in their country and are so passioned about it. And one thing is the same everywhere. They really admire the Dutch hardstyle scene. It's really nice to receive appreciation like that!

With the launch of our brand new website, I want to send out some special thanks to my father. Throughout the last 15 years he has been a great support and motivator for my career as a dj and producer. It was my father who lend me the money to buy my first Technics SL's and my first mixer (1994). It was my father who helped me when I organised my first events (1993 - 1998). It was my father who lend me money again to start my own little studio (1995). It was my father who gave me and Trilok room for the studio (1995 - 2001 and 2004 - 2007) and it is my father who has always been my biggest fan.

Her Majesty the Queen already decorated my father as a member of the order of 'Oranje Nassau. And from now on, he is also a member in the new order of Mythica!

In 2002/2003 Luna, Trilok & Chiren shocked the scene with their new DHHD sound. We controle the sound, Hear me now, DHHD (The Anthem), So many more, Rush, Funky Shit, Indication and 30 minutes. Al these tracks where produced and recorded in a sort of a closet.

If you look at the photo on the left (sorry for the mess), you can see the size of this tiny room. In here stood a digital mixer, 2 Synthesizers, a hardware sampler, 2 monitor speakers, a finalizer and 2 hardware compressors. And in the middle of all that equipment the 3 members of DHHD had to find a place to sit.

Trilok: How did whe do it???? If I think back... I still don't understand. But one thing's for sure... it was a lot of fun!!!
